Raiders Badain Pessimistic Team Will Stay In Oakland #Raiders - Video
Oakland Raiders President Marc Badain told a group of Wharton and Harvard alumni having a special gathering at today's Baltimore Ravens at Oakland Raiders game that the team needs to fill what he claims is a $400 million fiscal gap in financing a new stadium of $1 billion in Oakland. (My friend was in the audience and texted me as it was happening.). Badain also said that he is "pessimistic" that the Raiders will remain in Oakland - which means he thinks it's a good chance they are headed to Carson. Given that I gave the Raiders a fiscal plan that pays for a new stadium for both the Raiders and the A's, calls for no public money, and has a $500 million surplus, and was reviewed by Piper Jaffrey Investment Bankers, I have to believe the Raiders are playing some kind of party line messaging game. At the event Badain asked for help from the alumni. My question is are the Raiders serious?
